Meta Ads budget calculator for the GCC
Pick a market, a season and your numbers. The calculator turns a monthly Meta budget into impressions, clicks, orders, cost per order and ROAS, using the 2026 CPM ranges from our Gulf benchmark, then tells you whether that budget makes money at your margin.
Your estimate
Directional ranges, not a quote. New accounts land at the bottom of each range. Read the full Meta Ads benchmark for the GCC →
What the calculator assumes, line by line.
Cost per thousand impressions (CPM) comes from our Meta Ads benchmark for the Gulf: $6.5 to 12 in the UAE, $8 to 15 in Saudi Arabia, $7.5 to 13 in Qatar and Kuwait, and $5 to 10 in Bahrain and Oman, where data is thinner and the range is directional. For the UAE and Saudi Arabia the calculator uses the category CPMs from the same benchmark, which run higher for luxury and electronics.
Seasons move the auction. White Friday week is planned at +30 to 50%, and CPMs averaged 68% above baseline during Ramadan 2025. January is the cheapest window of the year; the benchmark gives no percentage for it, so the calculator keeps the lower half of the standard range.
Click-through rates are derived from the benchmark's CPM and CPC ranges by category, and conversion rates start at the low end of its social conversion ranges, because a new store converts below an optimised one. Food and beverage has no published CPC, so its click-through rate is a directional assumption.
The verdict compares ROAS with your breakeven ROAS, which is one divided by your contribution margin. At a 40% margin you need 2.5× just to cover the ads. That number, not a benchmark ROAS, is the line that decides whether a budget should grow.

Questions founders ask about Meta budgets.
How much do Meta ads cost in the UAE in 2026?
Ecommerce CPMs in the UAE typically run $6.5 to 12 per thousand impressions and reach $18 to 28 at peaks. A July 2026 public ecommerce dataset puts the UAE at $10.00. Luxury and electronics sit higher, food and beverage lower.
How much should I spend on Facebook and Instagram ads in Saudi Arabia?
For a test phase, plan $4,000 to 8,000 a month for the market, with Arabic-first creative. Saudi CPMs run $8 to 15, so that budget buys enough impressions to read conversion data within a few weeks. Scale only once ROAS clears your breakeven.
What is a good ROAS for ecommerce in the GCC?
An optimised GCC ecommerce account usually runs 5 to 8×, and retargeting 6 to 12×. The number that matters for you is your breakeven ROAS, one divided by your contribution margin: at a 30% margin anything under 3.3× loses money.
How much do CPMs rise during Ramadan and White Friday?
CPMs averaged 68% above baseline during Ramadan 2025, and White Friday week is planned at +30 to 50%. January, after the holidays, is the cheapest month of the year. Build creative and audiences before each peak instead of launching cold into it.
How accurate is this calculator?
It gives directional ranges, not a forecast. The CPMs blend public benchmarks with BIMO's own media buying in the Gulf, and your niche, creative quality and account history will move them. Replace the click and conversion rates with your own data as soon as you have a month of it.
